CSTI, the Western States Center’s annual 3-day training and networking extravaganza, is coming up! Registration is open until June 24th!
If you haven’t attended CSTI (Community Strategic Training Initiative) before, what better year to start? There are:
- Hundreds of volunteers and staff from groups working for social justice.
- Dozens of highly skilled trainer & organizers from across the country.
- Over 30 skills-building and issue workshops to choose from.
I go back every year for the sheer energy of that many justice-seekers, the long lunch hours that foster new movement friendships and networking, and the workshops’ focus on being smarter, more strategic, and more creative with our cross-issue organizing. It’s an inspiring couple of days!
Hard to say no? If you want to attend, let us know and then be sure to register by June 24th.
Each day-long workshop costs $75, though work trade options are available for those with limited resources. ROP has a very small number of competitive scholarship slots that can fetch a partial discount – let us know if you want one and we’ll put your name in the hat.
Below are some teasers from our friends at Western States Center – we hope to see you there!
All my best,
