Dear ROPnetters:
Want Non-Violent Civil Disobedience training? We have great news for you then!
Hey rural freedom fighters and allies! Please join me and the ROP staff team in this amazing opportunity to get trained on non-violence disobedience training in Portland! It’s part of our immigrant rights coalition building tactics to keep up the pressure on immigration reform! It’s time to start building more momentum and stop playing nice, the time is now for immigration reform! Join us!
What: Causa Oregon, one of our biggest ally groups, is putting together a Non-Violent Civil Disobedience (NVCD) training in Oregon! We are mobilizing in solidarity with Causa and our immigrant communities and allies to keep the pressure on Greg Walden in support of a just and comprehensive immigration reform bill, and need to be prepared to use Civil Disobedience as a tactic. There will likely be NVCD planned around the state in the coming months, and we want to offer all those interested an opportunity to participate in this exciting training!
When: November 3rd, 2013 10am- 3pm
Where: Portland State University, SMSU 236
Who: All who want some NVCD training in Oregon. We know Portland is far for many, but if you can make it please do! Please send at least one or two representatives from your local community and or group if possible! This is a great opportunity that is free!
This training is being hosted by Causa and Las Mujeres de PSU.
If you have any questions please contact Reyna Lopez from Causa at 971-240-7414.

Warmly,
The ROP staff crew
