Volunteers play a vital role in the local and statewide organizing of Rural Organizing Project! Our network of Human Dignity Groups is made up of volunteers who love their communities and are committed to making them safe and welcoming for all. The amazing and far-reaching work of ROP happens because of the hundreds of volunteers who serve on our board, take shifts in our Centers, and help maintain our digital systems!

We are looking to add to our already amazing team of staff and volunteers who translate ROP communications and materials into Spanish! Roles include translating things like ROPnets (our newsletters) and flyers into Spanish and reviewing and editing translated documents. You’ll always work closely with another translator on a project. This is a great opportunity to contribute to ROP’s language accessibility and sharpen your own translation skills!

We are looking for a few volunteers who can come into the ROP office in Bend or the Community Building Center in Cottage Grove for monthly shifts to help with general office upkeep! If you like lifting heavy boxes, addressing envelopes, organizing bookshelves and/or figuring out ergonomic office design, we have roles for you!
