We’re doing it real country, so wear your favorite cowboy boots or dancing shoes and get ready for a good time, all in support of organizing for justice in rural Oregon! The party begins at 6pm, with a short program and pie auction at 7pm, followed by more live music and dancing. The fun is happening at SEIU 49: 3536 SE 26th Ave in Portland.
Reserve your ticket today at www.rop.org/party. Attendees are asked to purchase a ticket at an amount that is meaningful to you, ranging between $15-$40. Tickets are also offered at no cost through scholarship or through one volunteer shift. We do not want ticket price to be a barrier to participation in this celebration. Also, for rural groups and leaders: Earlier in the day of December 2nd from 11:30 am-4:30 pm, ROP will be convening rural leaders for a Rural People’s Movement Assembly on Rapid Response Strategies to effectively respond to increasing state and vigilante violence. This gathering has very limited space and spots will be prioritized for rural and small town leaders building rapid response infrastructure in their communities. Vamos a celebrar de manera regional así que ponte tus botas de cowboy, o zapatos para bailar para disfrutar y apoyar la organización por la justicia en Oregon Rural!
La fiesta comienza a las 6pm con un programa muy corto, una subasta de tartas, y a las 7pm empieza la fiesta! Esto sera en: SEIU 49: 3536 SE 26th Ave in Portland. Los precios son de $15-$40, y boletos a no costo los ofrecemos por medio de becas o con servicio voluntario para la fiesta por un rato. Y para los grupos y líderes rurales: Ese mismo día, Diciembre 2 de las 11:10-4:30pm, ROP a convocado a líderes para la Asamblea del Pueblo del Movimiento sobre Estrategias de Respuesta Rápida que están respondiendo al aumento de violencia de vigilantes y del estado. Esta convocatoria tiene espacios limitados y se dará prioridad a líderes de pueblos pequeños y rurales que están creando infraestructura en sus comunidades.
