Friday Night

Pre-caucus BBQ

The Friday night before the Caucus, Linn County friends Al and Barbara DeVita have offered to host a BBQ get together. How lovely! Pre-Caucus BBQ at the DeVita’s, Friday April 9, 7-9pm. 36815 Freeman Rd, Scio, Oregon(approximately 20 minutes from Albany). I’ll be there; I hope you’ll come too. Please let us know if you can make it and bring something to throw on the grill! cara@rop.org


From I 5 north or south, take the Albany exit 233 and head east on Hwy 20. Go about 5.5 miles and bear left on Hwy 226. Go another 5.7 miles and turn right on Freeman Rd. Our driveway is .4 miles on the left. Call 503-438-8638 if you get lost.

Saturday night: Post-Caucus fun

Second Saturday Benefit Concert for ROP hosted by Alternatives 2 War!

Our friends in Corvallis are hosting a benefit fundraiser for ROP as part of their monthly series “Second Saturdays at the Sunnyside Up Café”. You are encouraged to attend, enjoy music, eat food, drink beers and enjoy your Benton County company! $5 donation welcome.

The event will feature music by local Celtic band Three Fingered Jack.

McKenzie River Gathering: Justice within Reach Event

MRG is one of the most supportive and politically motivated foundations in the country. They generously support ROP (and probably many of the other organizations you love). We are proud to be a part of the MRG family and want to invite all ROP members and friends to join the MRG annual Justice within Reach Party in Portland after the Caucus.

This is a fundraiser for MRG, who in turn supports grassroots organizations – $35 at the door
